Specializing in Nutrition Therapy for individuals and groups, our mission is to help people find and eat the foods they love so they can improve their health deliciously, one bite at a time.

Nutrition Therapy

Making just a few small changes to the food you eat can improve your physical and emotional health. Your first nutrition therapy visit includes  a nutrition assessment, a nutrition diagnosis, and a personalized action plan that addresses your individual health goals. You may want to improve blood pressure, reduce bad cholesterol, or lower your A1c. These can all be achieved with nutrition therapy.

Workplace Wellness

Food choices can directly impact the work day.  Certain foods and beverages influence emotions by increasing or decreasing serotonin, the feel-good hormone. Simple changes in what we eat or drink can make a big difference on our mental health. Our on-site nutrition therapy and healthy teaching kitchens for employees are cost-effective and can help to reduce absenteeism, and lower or minimize group health insurance rate increases.

Better Foods

The number of calories a food contains has nothing to do with its quality. Knowing what's in the food, where it came from, and how it was grown or raised are all important! Making smarter choices can prevent disease, improve mood, and support a healthy weight. We will show you how to find and cook the foods you love, so you can feel better and live better.

Testimonials

"Jeanne is extremely knowledgeable about food, food chemistry, and the latest research findings on nutrition. She can suggest dietary changes to prevent cancer, boost a sluggish metabolism, improve blood sugar, or lower LDL.  Her intelligence, compassion and sense of humor make working with her not only helpful, but also fun."  Liz

“After months of intense IBS symptoms, I met with Jeanne to help figure out which foods to avoid and which foods to eat so that I wouldn’t have to continue taking steroids and antibiotics.  After following her recommendations, I am feeling so much better! I'm living and eating with far less abdominal pain and digestive issues.”  M. Cooper

As a cancer survivor struggling with weight and gut issues, I’m so grateful to have found Jeanne. She understands the science of food as well as how to share it with me, apply it to my specific needs, and guide me to helpful resources. I’m excited about moving forward with the plan she has developed for me." Ann

"I highly recommend Jeanne Doherty as a nutritionist.  Recently I have worked with her to lower my blood sugars and improve cholesterol.  Her advice is practical and food suggestions are enjoyable, better versions of my favorite foods.  I am grateful for the transformative impact she has had on my lifestyle and wellbeing."
